Behind The Rebirth

The Rebirth Collective was founded by Simon Manni and Viv Ayas, built from a shared love of Soul, Jazz and R&B and years of working closely with artists and musicians.

Before The Rebirth Collective, we worked with artists including Jarrod Lawson, Lindsey Webster and Matt Cappy, putting on live shows across the UK and building relationships with artists, musicians, venues, promoters and people throughout the music industry.

Those experiences taught us something that still sits at the heart of everything we do today:

Our Approach

We have always believed that the best working relationships begin with trust.

We don’t want artists to feel like another name on a roster. We want to understand who they are, what they want to achieve and where we can genuinely make a difference.

That might mean developing a UK tour, introducing an artist to the right venue, creating a collaboration, bringing together the right musicians, supporting a new release or simply being the people at the end of the phone when something needs sorting out.

Our relationships are personal, and we intend to keep them that way.

Artist Management & Live Music

Simon works closely with our artists on management, bookings, touring and career development.

His strength lies in relationships. He has spent years building connections with artists and musicians and has an instinctive understanding of how to bring the right people together.

Simon believes that good management isn’t about telling an artist who they should be. It’s about understanding who they already are and helping create the opportunities that allow them to move forward.

Viv Ayas

Strategy, Promotion & Creative Direction

Viv works across the creative and strategic side of The Rebirth Collective, including artist promotion, communications, partnerships, live projects and business development.

She’s often the person starting the conversation: approaching a venue, contacting a festival, developing an idea, creating a campaign or spotting an opportunity for two worlds to come together.

Storytelling is a huge part of her approach. Every artist has a story, and sometimes the difference between being overlooked and being noticed is simply finding the right way to tell it.

WHY THE REBIRTH COLLECTIVE?

The name The Rebirth Collective represents new chapters.

In music, careers rarely follow a straight line. Artists evolve. Lives change. Opportunities disappear and unexpected ones arrive. Sometimes the most exciting chapter comes after everyone assumes the story has already been written.

We love that.

We’re particularly passionate about artists with experience, extraordinary musicianship and something meaningful still to say.

Rebirth isn’t about starting from nothing. It’s about taking everything you’ve lived, learned and created and turning it into what comes next.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

Today, The Rebirth Collective works across artist management, bookings, live music, releases, promotion and creative collaborations, with a growing network of artists and musicians from the UK, US and beyond.

Our artists include Soul and R&B vocalist Shawn Rivera, jazz trumpeter and composer Matt Cappy, and Soul/Jazz vocalist Cleveland P. Jones, alongside the wider family of artists and collaborators we’re developing projects with.

At the centre of many of our live projects is Dolce Groove, our house band led by Musical Director Francesco Mendolia, drummer with Incognito, allowing us to create exciting collaborations between international artists and exceptional musicians.

We’re ambitious about where The Rebirth Collective can go.

But however much it grows, we don’t want to lose the thing that brought us here in the first place.

Music is the business.

People are the heart of it.
